If you're new here, you may want check out the hottest Forex topic in 2008 - Autopilot Forex Trading. Thanks for visiting!
Trading the Forex market using an automated trading robot is the hottest thing right now in Forex trading. Most of the popular automatic trading software are designed specifically to trade the EUR/USD currency pair at various different timeframes. As well, they all run only on the MetaTrader forex trading platform as an Expert Advisor plugin. Automated Forex trading systems are great for newbies because these robots can produce consistent winning trades. They can work tirelessly 24 hours a day and make trading decisions unaffected by fear or greed and are surprisingly affordable.

They are even better for experienced Forex traders because having some Forex knowledge will help you optimize the running of these robots. Granted, none of these automated trading systems will give you 100% winning trades all the time but then again neither do the best human traders.

Most traders will tell you that the best days to trade forex is Tuesday and Wednesday. That’s when you have the most movement of the 4 major currency pairs, the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CHF and USD/JPY. Using Forex Killer, I got a ‘No Trade’ for 3 of the 4 currency pairs. Forex Killer gave me a ‘Sell Signal’ for EUR/USD so I though I would give that a try.
I shorted the EUR/USD at a price of 1.4628 hoping that the price would fall further.  Unfortunately, I also entered at 11.22 GMT, the low price point of that time frame and the market turned bullish on me and I loss $840.00. On the bright side, I learned how to read candlestick charts. See today’s EUR/USD candlestick chart.

The first thing I did after getting Forex Killer is to open a forex demo account with an online forex broker Oanda.com. Their demo account is called FXGame where you can trade under real market conditions with real prices and spreads. Each FXGame account is free, never expires and comes with access to news, analytical tools and charts, just like the real trading platform. To start off, Oanda gives you US$100,000 of virtual money to play…err practice with! You can signup here for a free FXGame account.

I always wanted to trade the forex market. Apparently, you can trade forex almost 24 hours a day, 6 days a week all around the world. Having traded stocks before, I knew that you could make more money trading currencies than stocks. You could also lose more and very quickly too.
I’m a learn-by-doing kinda person so I like to get my hands dirty doing new stuff. But I didn’t want to lose lots of my own money learning to trade forex online. I’m also a read-the-first-chapter-only kinda a book person so I never get my money’s worth buying ebooks.
